Holly and Ryan are truly gifted storytellers. We felt like we had two new enthusiastic fans the night we shared our vision for our big day with Holly and Ryan. They took the time to get to know us, and they weren't just vendors at our wedding—they were our friends, too! I loved about Purely Films was how they seamlessly stepped into all the right moments. Even when I did catch a glimpse of a camera in the background, I had no clue how hard they were working to capture words, laughter, facial expressions, and so many little details of a much bigger story that our wedding weekend was all about. Their work speaks for itself. Holly and Ryan don't just show you different shots and angles from your wedding day—they remind you why your love is worth celebrating in the first place.

Megan and Jacob were married on a warm fall day at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas. Their ceremony overlooked the rolling hill country and Megan desired for the feel of her day to be ‘whimsical romance’. Her color palette was of late summer and early fall colors. Their day held unique and beautiful entertainment, from cocktails, appetizers, lawn games, a magician, and an after-party to remember. Dinner under the stars, dancing into the night, and an array of desserts. Everything was perfect and so engulfed with joy!
Megan / Jacob

First, think of one of the sweetest and most beautiful women you’ve ever met..now add God-fearing and intelligent and you’ve got Megan. Now think of a man who will give away everything just to help a person in need, or someone who will be deeply touched by anything you say or give, this is Jacob. Put them together and you’ve got Megan / Jacob and some amazing human beings.
Megan was set on going to an all-girls bible study but somehow ended up at the Bible study Jacob was leading....later that night Megan told her friend she thinks her parents would love them. It’s amazing to see their families come together on this day.
Camp Lucy is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever shot at. We’ve filmed there a couple of times now and each time it still moves us. Megan and Jacob picked this place because they wanted that amazing view of the sky, looking so far upon the earth they felt it almost reflected eternity.
